Republic day is celebrated to commemorate the coming of its own constitution into force. It is a immense pleasure for the Indians as we ae celebrating 68th Republic day. College of Home science also celebrated the day with full enthusiasms.
The celebration started with Flag hoisting by Dr.P Amala Kumari , Professor , Department of HECM. In her message, she highlighted what she believes patriotism. It is enjoying the rights given by the constitution by ‘contributing’ to the management of right, deciding as whether one wants to be like ‘everybody else’ or her/his YOU and to be ‘youthful’ irrespective of demographic, geographic and social status.
The students pronounced the patriotism through dances, singing and speaking on the glory of the great nation.
Every national celebration brings all the Indian together with a common spirit of protecting its glory.
